Vandring
A popular destination for cyclists and inline skaters, hikers and joggers, sailors and surfers is the Kemnader lake on the city boundary between Bochum, Witten and Hattingen. A large (10 kilometers) and a small (8.3 kilometers) circuit offer great views of one of the most beautiful reservoirs in the Ruhrgebiet

Vandring
Very nice recreation area, easy to reach on the A43. There are three paths once for pedestrians, then for inliners and the third for cyclists, just well thought out. Around the lake there are places or points of sale for ice cream, drinks etc. And lots of playgrounds. If you do not make it all the way around the lake, you can also go sections with a ship.
