Opened in 1882, the Ribble Steam Railway was used as a commercial train line until its closure in the 1990s. Today, the line still runs as a tourist attraction, preserving 137 years of railway history. You can ride on an original steam or deisel locomotive, learn about the railway's story at the museum, visit the preserved platforms, and have a slice of cake at the cafe.
