The Ebnisee in the Swabian Forest is always a nice destination. In summer you can bathe in the lake with the dreamy backdrop. If you prefer to stay dry, you can rent a pedal boat or rowing boat. Several cozy beer gardens on the shore are ideal for resting and stopping off.

A nice place to hike and recharge your batteries. However, sometimes quite a lot going on - then it is advisable to use the trails that lead a little off in the beautiful forest around the lake.

In the middle of the Swabian Forest lies between Althütte, Kaisersbach and Welzheim the Ebnisee. The 6.7 hectare lake with a maximum depth of 4.75 meters and a capacity of 163 000 cubic meters of water celebrated its 250th anniversary in 1996.
The scenic gem is an insider tip among the tourist recreational destinations of the Stuttgart region and at the same time witness to a living piece of rafting history in Württemberg.
