You can spend the night in the former prison under the motto "Rest in prison". The former Fronfeste, converted into an adventure hotel, is a special attraction and you can voluntarily spend the night in a cell. hotel-fronfeste.de/index.php/zellen/doppelzelle

Criminals were locked up here as early as the 17th century. The cells in the vaulted cellar in particular showed every delinquent that the joys in life were over for the time being.

Knasthotel Fronfeste: The most original hotel far and wide, lovingly decorated in an old prison with a depressing past. Partly with original inventory. Nice scary. If you ask, the owners may even offer a small private tour spontaneously. Cyclists on the popular Five Rivers Cycle Route are in good hands here (ADFC certified). hotel-fronfeste.de
