You can also continue along the path straight ahead, towards the yellow courtyard buildings and then immediately past them to the right. So there is no dead end there, but the path continues upwards! By the way, the people on the farm are happy when you talk to them and even more so when you buy some of their cheese. Sure - goat's cheese isn't for everyone, but those interested can obtain loaves of various sizes, neatly stored in a cold room.
