Vandring
The present monastery buildings were built from 1702 to 1707, since the original buildings were in very poor condition. Next to the monastery there is a grammar school and a boys boarding school in the abbey today. The monks run agriculture, forestry and a distillery. The products can be bought locally in the monastery shop. Also on the grounds of the monastery is the Gasthof Klosterbräustüberl.

Schäftlarn Abbey is a Benedictine abbey located in the Isar Valley, south of Munich. The products produced by the monks in the apiary and distillery can be purchased in the monastery shop.

Even from a distance, the monastery impresses with its imposing appearance. But inside there is also a lot going on. In addition to the boarding school, which housed here, the monks run here forestry, a distillery and a beekeeping. You can buy the products in the monastery shop or try them in the Bräustüberl.

Wednesday to Saturday 2pm to 5pm
Sundays and holidays 11am to 5pm
Bräustüberl:
daily from 10am to 10pm - hot meals from 11.30am to 9pm
