A sturdy and beautifully located bothy for exploring the wild, broad mountains around Loch Ossian. Bear in mind that the Abhain Rath can be difficult or even dangerous to cross when in spate.

Mountainbiking

The bothy is always there. Nice also! The stepping stones not always at all. Depending on how high the water stands, you can of cannot cross the river exactly next to the bothy. When we visited the stepping stones where flooded, but just. Try in the morning and evenings for a beter chance at crossing the river. The bothy is great! Maintained by the M.B.A. it has a small entrance hall and three rooms, of which two have a stove. Bring some wood though. Not much there to find ;-)
