Vandring
Quaint little path along the Ruhr between the trees, with beautiful views of the river. Sometimes a bit adventurous and muddy in the rain, for the bike (except maybe mountain bike) not recommended.

Vandring
After we have descended from the forest to Oefte Castle, where an unfriendly golf attendant is lying in wait for us, we cross the "golf zone" past the associated shop, climb over the currently devastated forest worker area to the mouth of the Oeftem an der Ruhr.
Here we can expect a chained but possessable ensemble of table and chairs with a wonderful unobstructed view of the river and the estuary.

Vandring
Our new discovery of the day: A wonderful path along the Ruhr, meanders along the banks, meanders through the forest and offers many quiet places to camp, bivouac or pause. Protected from views from the much visited Ruhruferweg on the opposite side by the upstream bird protection island.
The traces indicate that it is already known to many, certainly the local anglers, but fortunately there is not a lot of garbage lying around, which hopefully will remain that way!
