Construction is currently underway on the Alster lock and the crossing is completely closed. The only possibility nearby. But be careful 3 levels have already been broken, some strength training is necessary to lift the bike onto the bridge.

The crossing of the Alster is actually forbidden here, since the water engineering system must not be entered. On the Rade side, access is still easy, on the other side of Wulksfelde, the bridge steps are partially gone, so taking a bike is really difficult, especially if you are traveling alone.

This bridge is a bit adventurous as the steps on the east side are very loose, one step in particular. And it's also very narrow on the bridge.
