Corvo is the most north-westerly and with an area of 17,11 square kilometers the smallest inhabited island in the Azores. Together with the island Flores 15 km away, it forms the western group of the Azores. With 430 inhabitants, the only settlement Vila do Corvo is one of the smallest cities in Europe.
