The originally proposed route is flawed in two places:

If you come across the corkscrew route in Solingen, you should turn left and you will then be guided through the middle of the city. Right would be to the right in the direction of Haan/Gräfrath.

That was a nice tour. Lots of routes. I had adapted the tour "View of the Wupper - Müngstener Brückenweg round trip from Bruch" a little.
