Impressive to walk around between the granite blocks. You can't get lost here, but you have to walk a few meters further because there is only one way out of the labyrinth.

In the granite labyrinth at the foot of the Epprechtstein, you reach your destination on an area measuring 34 by 34 meters through winding paths formed by 180 granite blocks, where benches invite you to linger and reflect. A five-meter-high obelisk made of Epprechtstein granite in the center of the labyrinth draws the eye upwards.
By the way: A labyrinth is always goal-oriented and not a maze, as is often wrongly assumed. The location is the former workshop of a stonemason's shop, directly on the cycle path near the Vorderen Buchhaus.

The "Epprechtstein granite labyrinth" is a unique labyrinth of granite blocks in Europe. It was built on the former work place of a stone processing company. The square labyrinth has a base area of 34m x 34m and consists of 190 raw granite blocks. The visitor has to walk about 400m on winding paths until he gets to the center.
