The steam engine house in Potsdam is worth a visit. The tour lasts half an hour and costs four euros per person, card payment is possible. The steam engine house on the Neustädter Havelbucht in Potsdam looks like a mosque with a minaret. Friedrich Wilhelm IV had the building built in the Moorish style between 1841 and 1843 by Ludwig Persius. It was still visible from Sanssouci Palace.
