The old station Wichlinghausen is already a highlight in itself. But there is also a lot to discover around it. Football is played on the green areas in the summer, and right next to the train station is a remarkable course area that is open to the public. Within sight of the train station you can discover the Wicked-Woods Hall, where skaters and dirt bikers can practice their tricks.

The former Wichlinghausen train station is located on the continuation of the Nordbahntrasse after the interruption by the new housing development in the district of Oberbarmen / Wichlinghausen. In the immediate vicinity is the Wicked Woods skate hall and a parcours park. Furthermore, there is a huge green area and a children's playground and an ice cream cart for the little ones is always there in good weather.
