The three-aisled, solidly bricked and plastered Basilica of St. John with polygonal choir and choir flank tower. The high-quality, predominantly neo-Gothic interior is dated to around 1290.
The city parish church, located centrally in the city center, is an outstanding testimony to the city and church history and at the same time a vertical dominant feature in the cityscape.
