The ferry connection in Belgern, which is a short connection with East Elbe, can look back on a long tradition. It was mentioned as early as the 13th century and had many owners and operators. The ferry transports everything from pedestrians to riders to trucks. It can accommodate up to 40 people and has a load capacity of up to 30 tons.
