Wonderful panoramic view over the island. Those who have conquered the slope can strengthen themselves in the Klosterschänke. At 560 meters, the mountain is the highest in Menorca

With 357 meters highest "mountain" on Menorca. Without the existing buildings, there would have been an incredible all-round view. Unfortunately, the summit is somewhat obstructed by a large number of antennas. The ascent takes place over a sometimes very steep road, which is why there are many motorized visitors at the top.

At its summit you will find the “Santuario de la Virgen del Toro”, a sanctuary with a carved wooden statue dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the patron saint of Menorca. Built in 1670 on top of a Gothic church, the sanctuary takes its name from a legend according to which a bull (Spanish: toro) helped monks discover the figure of the Madonna.
