The church of San Juan Bautista began to be built in 1542 by Juan de Ornero. In 1587 the work was entrusted to the master stonemason Juan de Rigos, who had to complete it in six years. However, for unknown reasons what should have been its main entrance was left unfinished, whose structure, column and arches we have been able to see in the discovery.
