From 1700, the New Town Hall was built in several phases. From 1719 to 1721 the building was extended by Dominikus Zimmermann and redesigned with a finely structured, towering gable front. The windows were staggered in size depending on the importance of the rooms behind them. The stucco facade is one of the most important profane creations of the master builder, who lived as a citizen in Landsberg from 1716 to 1757 and also temporarily served as a mayor here.

The town hall can be visited (admission 2 euros adults and 1 euros young people). There is more information in the tourist information, which is located on the ground floor of the building. A detailed town hall guide and postcards with motifs from the ballroom are also available there.
