The Bight of Bath is seen as a 'bottle neck' that is difficult to navigate for heavily loaded seagoing vessels. From the shore you can see the ships passing nearby. The port of Antwerp forms a beautiful skyline.

From here you have a beautiful view over the Western Scheldt; that applies to this entire dike path, by the way. So close to the major port city of Antwerp, you might just spot a large ship. Or the Drowned Land of Saeftinghe in the distance: the largest brackish marsh in Western Europe.
