Over 900 mile (1,400 kilometers) of well-signposted cycle paths lead through the Chiemsee-Chiemgau CycleTravelRegion, which has received an ADFC award. On them, you will find exciting adventurous rides of which we present you the ten most beautiful in this Collection. Around Lake Chiemsee, Lake Waginger and Lake Tachin, there are circuits that are between around 20 and 30 miles (30 and 60 kilometers) long - ideal for beautiful day trips. On each adventurous ride, you will get various insights into the Chiemsee-Chiemgau region. Sometimes it's Bavarian specialties you can taste on the way, sometimes it's farm or mammoth museums where you can learn something about the region.
You can easily get to the starting points of the individual Tours by train, the region's cycle buses or by one of the ships that sail on Lake Chiemsee. Since all Tours are round trips, you can, of course, choose the starting point flexibly along the route and if you are very creative, you can even combine different adventurous rides with others. With so much flexibility, you are sure to find your favorite route where you can fully enjoy the Chiemsee-Chiemgau cycling region.
