The start of the eight-kilometer tour is the valley station of the Kitzbüheler Hornbahn. From here you can take the Hornbahn I and the Horn summit cable car at almost 2,000 meters.The actual hike begins at the summit of the Kitzbüheler Horn. Definitely make a detour to the viewpoint and enjoy the amazing view of the Wilder Kaiser and the surrounding mountains - from up here you can admire over 70 three-thousand meter peaks. What a start for a hike!Then you walk gently downhill through the colorful alpine flower garden. A lot of flowers bloom on the wayside, from cyclamen to gentian. You will be accompanied by a fantastic panorama. Take your time and let the wonderful view work on you - the most enjoyable is the Kaiserschmarrn in the Hornköpflhütte. Right next to the hut is the deep blue Hornköpfelsee, a great stop for a kick of freshness.You continue to hike through the beautiful landscape on the Höhenweg. If you want to collect a few meters of altitude again, you can add a detour to the Hochetzkogel. After that it is not far to your goal, the Bichlalm.Here you can fortify yourself, soak up the view again extensively and then take the lift back down into the valley.
On the 17 km long Gamsroas you climb the highest peaks of the typical grass mountains around Kitzbühel. The tour has a lot to offer with its 1,120 meters of altitude, but you will be rewarded with fantastic views of the fantastic Kitzbühel mountains. If that doesn't provide the necessary boost!The circular walk starts at the Bochumer Hütte car park. The path rises sharply right at the beginning. You will soon reach the cozy Bochumer Hütte and can stop here for a (second) breakfast. Immediately afterwards you will be standing on your first summit, the Laubkogel. The path continues to climb and takes you from summit cross to summit cross - and from one spectacular viewpoint to the next.The 2,000-meter mark between Rauber and Saalkogel will soon be exceeded. You keep climbing up and unchecking one summit after the other until you stand next to the summit cross on the Gamshag, at 2,178 meters the highest point of the tour. Let the wonderful mountain panorama work on you, you more than deserve it. The strenuous part of the hike has been mastered, now it's all downhill. Take your time on the descent, more than 1,000 meters downhill can be quite exhausting for your knees.Be sure to pack enough water and some provisions for this promising hike.

The tranquil village of Aurach is famous for its stately hereditary farmsteads with the Urtirol character and the lovingly tended farm gardens. On this relaxed hike you will make a five kilometer round through the town and the beautiful landscape all around. It starts at the hiking information point in Aurach.You leave Aurach and walk past the golf course to the Erbhof Bachern. You will pass several of these courtyards along the way. The pretty houses are not only beautiful to look at, they also bear witness to a long family history. Because only those who run their farm over several generations are awarded the title.You walk through the beautiful landscape and enjoy the Tyrolean idyll. On the Sonnenbergweg you continue uphill to Oberaurach. A stop at the Sankt Ruppert church is worthwhile. Along the Auracher Torrent it goes back to the starting point of the tour, where you can end up in one of the inns.By the way, from Kitzbühel you can take the bus 4010 to Aurach in a very relaxed manner.
What is more beautiful than a hike to a lake? Exactly, a hike to a promising mountain lake. And on this 15-kilometer tour you will even pass four picturesque mountain lakes, which are connected by a panoramic path.The starting point of the tour is at the Hahnenkammbahn mountain station. From Kitzbühel you can take a relaxed gondola up to the mountains at 1,650 meters. In the Hahnenkammstüberl you can take a break to get in the mood. Do you want to move first? Then save yourself the detour at the end of your tour.You start your hike and soon reach the Ehrenbachhöhe reservoir. The blue water of the lake and the surrounding peaks provide a magnificent backdrop for your tour. Enjoy the fantastic distant view of the Wilder Kaiser and the Kitzbühel mountains. It continues with great views: you hike uphill on the panoramic hiking trail towards Pengelstein, accompanied by a unique view.Let the beautiful mountain landscape work on you. If you feel like taking a break, you can stop at the banks of the three other lakes - Brunnsee, Pengelsteinsee and Usterkarsee. You will then reach the Ehrenbachhöhe and the top station of the Hahnenkammbahn faster than you would like.

The title says it all: You walk past the Gieringer Weiher, Vogelsberg Weiher and Hasenberg Weiher. The starting point of the nine-kilometer tour is at Wiesenweg in Reith.After just one kilometer you will reach the Gieringer Weiher, time for a first idyllic break to enjoy the wonderful nature. Are you struggling to tear yourself away from this beautiful piece of earth? Don't worry, the next pond is not far. At the Vogelsberg pond you can make yourself comfortable on a bench on the shore and let the landscape work its magic on you. And because all good things are known to be three, the Hasenberg pond is only a stone's throw away.You hike on, soon the path climbs to the 876 meter high Rettenberg. From up here you have a fantastic view of the surrounding Kitzbühel mountains. After you have thoroughly enjoyed the panorama, it goes downhill again. You cross the Aschauer Ache and walk to your destination Reith. In the village you will find several options for a cozy retreat.You can also plan this hike as a circular route. It is not far from the center of Reith to Wiesenweg, just cross the Ache again and then turn left into Wiesenweg. From Kitzbühel you can take bus 4006 to Reith.

We continue through the Jenewein Passage into the Kitzbüheler Hinterstadt with the colorful rows of houses. Through the Kirchberger Tor you come back to the starting point.Along the route you will find several nice cafés or inns for a cozy break. Mousetrap, steep slope, bridge shot, old aisle and Seidlalmsprung - the world-famous ski circuit Streif has been the scene of the international Hahnenkamm races since 1937. But even without snow, a trip to the route above Kitzbühel is worthwhile. With digital information screens, you can feel the racing feeling up close, even in summer.The eight-kilometer hike starts at the Hahnenkammbahn mountain station. Already on the way up from Kitzbühel you get a great impression of the steep downhill section that the winter sports enthusiasts race down at breakneck speed. The actual hike then begins at the start house.You follow the route downhill and pass some well-known key points of the descent. However, since you are not in such a hurry as the skiers, you can take a little round around the two Seidlalm reservoir lakes. On the shore you can take a short break and enjoy the wonderful view of the valley.Afterwards it goes downhill. If you fancy a stop, you can stop at the Seidlalm.
The water falls 85 meters at the Sintersbach waterfall - an impressive natural spectacle that you get to know on this almost nine-kilometer hike. The circular hike begins at the Schradler car park near Jochberg. If you arrive by bus, it is about a 20-minute walk from the Jochberg Alpenhof stop to the starting point of the tour.It gets mystical right at the beginning: The first part of the way is dedicated to the Sintersbach dragon legend. You will find out what the saga is all about and walk through the beautiful landscape and cross the Sintersbach. In a wide arc you hike through the picturesque mountain landscape and climb up little by little. After almost five kilometers you will reach the cozy Wildalm. Here you can take a break on the terrace and fortify yourself with something sweet or savory - you have already done the strenuous part of the hike.It goes downhill again a bit until you can already hear the roar of the waterfall. After the snow has melted, the spectacle is particularly impressive. On a wooden platform you get very close to the waterfall and you may even feel the refreshing spray on your face. Through the forest and along the stream, you then hike the last few kilometers back to the starting point of the tour.

The four kilometer long tour shows you the tranquil community of Jochberg, also known as the Wasserdorf. It starts at the hiking information point in the center.You take a small round through the village and discover the first bubbling fountains. The 7-Brunnenweg runs around Jochberg, which you follow a bit. So you can refresh yourself on a hot summer day and enjoy the beautiful Tyrolean landscape. Do you want to learn more about the history of the region? The farmhouse museum "Vorderkünstler" gives you a great insight.If you are looking for more cooling, the forest swimming pool is just right. After a refreshing break you walk along the Jochberger Ache back into the town center. In Jochberg you can take a look at the parish church before you look for a nice place to stop.By the way, you can get to Kitzbühel by bus 4010 to Jochberg.

The place is beautifully nestled between Bichlach and the Rauhen Kopf and is the starting point for many hikes in the region.The small round starts at the hiking information point in the town center. Before you start the tour, it is worth taking a look at the parish church. Then you leave the center and walk south along the Aschauer Ache to Griesbach. There you turn left and walk back through the beautiful meadow landscape to Reith.
