Magnificent panoramas, fresh mountain air, and Tyrolean cuisine – hiking in the Kitzbühel Mountains in autumn is a wonderful adventure. In this Collection, we present 10 hikes in and around the town of Kitzbühel in the Tyrolean region of Austria. The routes reflect the area’s rich diversity. You can choose from a range of hikes from challenging summit trails to relaxed strolls through quaint villages. Tyrol is one of the most diverse regions in Austria where peaceful nature, rustic traditions, modern life, and alpine flare meet.
In autumn, when there are less people on the trails and path, you can experience the fantastic mountain panorama from the shore of a lake or standing next to a summit cross. Let yourself be enchanted by the diverse nature, enjoy the colorful forests and hike beautiful trails through the mountains of the Eastern Alps.
You can also visit the world-famous downhill ski slope, the Streif, known as one of the most challenging slopes for skiers. Trace their path as you hike down the slope into the valley, before gathering altitude on a climb up to the Gamshag mountain. If you would like to go on a more relaxing ramble, you can explore the tranquil villages around Kitzbühel and taste the regional cuisine at traditional restaurants.
This autumn we have a special offer for you so that you can plan your holiday flexibly with zero risk. You can change or cancel your accommodation free of charge up to 48 hours before your arrival when you book with participating hosts. You can also choose from a range of special offers tailored to your individual needs.
