The five stages of the Seensteig are a highlight in the Baiersbronn hiking paradise. On the Seensteig you can walk the entire district of Baiersbronn in five days, discovering incomparable landscapes. He was chosen by the German Hiking Association to one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Germany. The varied circular route begins and ends at the hiking information center in Baiersbronn, the intermediate destinations on the way are Mitteltal, Schliffkopf, Mummelsee and Schönmünzach.The Seensteig runs around Baiersbronn, along the municipal boundary and leads to Karseen and peaks. The Seensteig has its own waymark - a hexagon with a symbolized sun over a lake and the signage Seensteig. All stages are easily accessible by public transport, so you even have the opportunity to hike without luggage and return to your accommodation every night. As a sporty hiker, you can of course extend the stages and hike in less than five days.On the lakeside you will encounter many peculiarities of the Black Forest at once: a variety of forest forms such as mixed and spell forest, karst and waterfalls, Grinden and the Black Forest National Park.
On five stages, the ZweiTälerSteig takes you to the most beautiful and pristine corners of the Elz and Simonswäldertal. The circular route begins and ends at the railway station in Waldkirch, the milestones of the walk are the Kandel, Simonswald, Oberprechtal and Biederbach. The first three days of the ZweiTälerSteigs challenge you physically: over narrow paths you walk zigzagging past rocks, gorges and waterfalls. The last two days bring your soul to rest and reward you with changing views, easy paths and gentle climbs.The ZweiTälerSteig leads to elevation and viewing points, such as the Kandel, the pilgrim's chapel on the Hörnleberg, the prehistoric Rohrhardsberg or the long ridge of Höhenhäuser down to Waldkirch, where the changing long-distance views are addictive. To natural beauties, such as the sparkling Zweribach waterfalls, the wild romantic pond gorge or the mighty Huberfelsen. The Schluchtensteig leads you on a varied, approximately 118 kilometer long route across the Southern Black Forest nature park. You will wander past thundering waterfalls and through dramatic valley landscapes. In six stages, you can go on this exciting long-distance trail, which requires sure-footedness and a head for heights. It starts in Stühlingen on the stage village Blumberg, Schattenmühle, Schluchsee Oberfischbach, St. Blasien and Todtmoos to Wehr, the destination of the Schluchtensteig.On this unique long-distance hiking trail, you will experience pure nature: water rushing, spray dusting through a wet, glistening gorge, pulling green, mossy rock walls long, glittering threads in the sun and jumping cheerfully from stage to stage down to the valley. You will get to know the Wutachschlucht gorge, the Lotenbach gorge, the Schleifenbach falls, the Haslach gorge, the Windberg waterfall, the Hohwehr gorge and the Wehratal gorge. Here you climb through unfathomable ravines, wander through fascinating valley landscapes and can marvel at impressive waterfalls. On 83 kilometers, the long-distance hiking trail leads through the valley of the Alb along the lively river. From Albbruck on the Upper Rhine it goes to the roof of the southern Black Forest, the Feldberg and the Herzogenhorn, where the Alb springs. You can hike the route as a sporty variant in three or as a classic tour in five stages. Parking for the duration of the tour is available in Albbruck. The "official" direction is from the mouth to the source, of course, you can also run the tour in the opposite direction.The Albsteig runs on long stretches close to the shore of its namesake, but also winds up to the heights on both sides of the Alb and offers many opportunities to discover and experience the diverse landscape and its special features. In addition to the wild water experience, the long-distance hiking trail also guarantees wonderful insights into the varied Albtal landscape with the wildly romantic Albtal and the wild Alb gorge.
The 110-kilometer Premium Hiking Trail was classified for the fourth time by the German Hiking Institute in 2017 and rated according to 34 experience criteria. The Murgleiter has passed this test with flying colors and may therefore also adorn with the name "premium trail". On five stages, you will hike on the exciting long-distance hiking trail from Gaggenau to the 1,055 meter high Schliffkopf. On the way you will come through the stages Gernsbach, Gorbach, Schönmünzach and Baiersbronn.Sure-footed and equipped with good footwear you walk in constant up and down along the Murg. So come on the five stages around 3,805 meters in the ascent together. On both sides of the river, the trail meanders through rooting paths through deep forests, past rugged cliffs and lush greenery. The west variant of the Westweg leads you to about 287 kilometers from Pforzheim, the gateway to the Black Forest, to Basel in Switzerland. You cross the highest mountain of all German low mountain ranges, the Feldberg. The route requires sure-footedness and good footwear and you can hike it in twelve stages. On the way, the stage villages Dobel, Forbach, Unterstmatt, Alexander Hill, Hark, Hausach, Wilhelmshöhe (Schonach), Kalte Herberge, Hinterzarten, Wiedener Eck and Kandern invite you to relax and unwind.On the way from north to south through the Black Forest, towering mountains and deep-falling water, wild-romantic forests and breathtaking views await you. Nowhere else in the German low mountain range does it go as far up as in the Black Forest. The 1,493 meter high massif of Feldberg and Seebuck is the highest elevation of all German low mountain ranges.
