The region has a lot to discover so you may want to plan a few rest days between your rides. For example, the spa town of Bad Ragaz, the deep blue waters of Lake Walen, and numerous side valleys such as the Tamina Valley all lie en route. Round tour with a spectacular transition over the wild and pristine Palfries plateau. With an altitude of 1,400 meters you can work up a sweat even with an electric drive, but you will be rewarded with the view of the fjord-like Walensee and the rugged mountain peaks in the Speer-Churfirsten-Alvier area.The start and destination of this tour is the historic town of Sargans at the foot of the Gonzen, where iron ore was mined for a long time. Today it houses an interesting show mine with a restaurant. After you have briefly touched the Rhine, you pedal steadily uphill from Trübbach, mostly on a paved road.Above Labria, the landscape changes suddenly. After a short time you reach the Palfries plateau and are overwhelmed by the panorama. Now you drive along the foot of the Alvier chain and overlook the entire Heidiland holiday region with the Sarganserland, the Walensee and the Churfirsten. An almost 600-year-old town hall of the free Walsers testifies to the former settlement on Palfries, which you can visit today as a museum. The mountain restaurants Palfries and Stralrüfi are ideal for a break up here in the picturesque landscape.The descent begins with a beautiful single trail and continues on an alpine road through beautiful natural landscapes. From the historic Kurhaus Sennis you continue via Valaschga, past the Hagerbach test gallery and after crossing the motorway back to Sargans.
A varied day tour that takes you through the wonderful alpine landscape on the Flumserberg and ends with a great single trail descent through the beautiful Schilstal valley. The 1,440 vertical meters are easy to master thanks to the electric drive on the bike, you only need your technical skills downhill.The route leads past the Gräpplang castle ruins and along a quiet side street via the hamlet of Fäsch to Bergheim. Now you follow the mountain road to Tannenheim, before you turn to Cafrida and shortly after you reach the skiing and hiking area Flumserberg.At Cafrida you follow the nature path, which later flows into the mountain road to the Prodalp plateau. The beautiful raised bog offers a magnificent view of the Sarganserland and the Churfirsten.The mountain restaurant of the same name has a large sun terrace and is perfect for recharging the (inner) batteries before you continue on the forest road to Panüöl. An impressive mountain panorama awaits you there and the onward journey to Alp Fursch is a real panoramic delight.The subsequent downhill through the Furschwald is particularly challenging in wet conditions, but is still a lot of fun. We continue along the Schilsbach, which you cross at Bildbrugg. On a flowing forest trail you reach Portels and before you know it you are back in Flums.

The bike tour over the Kunkel fun is a real classic that connects the spa town of Bad Ragaz with Tamins. At the same time, you completely circle the Calanda. At 1,090 meters above sea level, this tour is a moderate challenge for e-bikers - the distance of 63 kilometers, however, is already more demanding. How good that you start in Bad Ragaz with a full battery!From Bad Ragaz you first follow the pass route, which was already used by the Romans, steadily increasing to the spa town of Valens. From there it goes rather flat over a bridge almost 100 meters high to Vasön and down to the Mapragg reservoir. In front of the dam you branch off to the right and drive along the lakeshore before you meet the main road again at the end of the lake.We continue to Vättis through a wild valley basin with mountain slopes rising almost vertically on both sides. The final ascent to the pass now runs away from traffic in an untouched, grandiose landscape. Shortly after the Eggwald mountain restaurant (which is perfect for a short or long break) you leave the canton of St.Gallen and you are now in Graubünden, before the pass.At the transition from the Tamina to the Rhine valley, you can experience how great the landscape differences are on both sides of the watershed. The last descent to Tamins is a biker delight with a view of the confluence of the Vorderrhein and Hinterrhein.
The Pizol Challenge is a first-class fitness test. 1,100 vertical meters from Bad Ragaz to the Pardiel viewing terrace on the Pizol followed by a descent await ambitious e-bikers with calf fat. The climbs have some really steep ramps in their luggage, which you will be grateful for any support for - but for this tour you have a great chance of real uphill flow over beautiful single trails with the usual great view.You start in Bad Ragaz on a moderately steep and easily navigable small mountain road to Pardiel. On the way there are magnificent views of the Seeztal, Rhine Valley, Liechtenstein and the Bündner Herrschaft. Once on the Pardiel viewing terrace, you can recharge your batteries in one of the mountain inns with inviting menus and drinks and enjoy the view. The panorama from the nearby Prodkopf viewpoint is particularly beautiful.The descent follows a funny forest trail to Muttberg. From there, a forest path leads through the forest landscape back to the spa town of Bad Ragaz. If you want, you can immerse yourself in the soothing thermal water of the Tamina Therme after your tour and relax there for the rest of the day.
On this tour you enjoy fabulous insights into the picturesque Weisstannental with dreamy Alps and wild nature. Almost 1,400 vertical meters are easily feasible thanks to your electric drive. The majority of the route runs on nature trails and is made for e-bikers who are looking for uphill flow.You start in Bad Ragaz and first drive comfortably warm through the Sarganserland with a view of the dominating Gonzen. The ascent begins at Wangs and leads to the Unter Precht alp on the left edge of the Weisstannental. There you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the Weisstannental. The Foostock, part of the "Tectonic Arena Sardona", a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is enthroned in the distance.Through magnificent forests and lush pastures you reach the highest point of the tour, the Alp Gamidaur. The following descent is the real highlight of this route: Accompanied by a few of the most beautiful panoramas in the area (Churfirsten, Alvier, Sarganserland, Rhine Valley) you roll through wildly overgrown landscapes and forests over nature trails, mountain roads, a beautiful single trail and finally at the ruin Freudenberg past back to Bad Ragaz.
This route offers everything a biker's heart desires. Discover flat, steep, promising, fast and secluded sections of the trail around the Pizalun, which are enclosed in the forest. At almost 1,000 meters above sea level, you won't run out of breath so quickly thanks to the electric drive and you can fully engage in the wonderful landscape. The Tamina Gorge in particular is a natural occurrence.You start in Bad Ragaz and first follow the Rhine to Untervaz. Then you turn into the mountains and on the long, sometimes steep ascent towards the Tamina gorge. Once at the top, it is worth taking a breath and enjoying the view. A little further you will find the Buura Beizli, which will spoil you with culinary delights and invite you to take a leisurely break.Now it goes downhill above the wild beautiful Tamina gorge together with the imposing Tamina bridge before you return to Bad Ragaz.
This tour takes you to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the region. In addition, you will be rewarded with a challenging single-track downhill to the Rhine after the ascent. Except for a few short sections, the tour is completely passable - and thanks to the electric drive you have the sliding passages loosely in the cross.In the spirit of the uphill flow, the driveway is not for organic bikers, but is supposed to challenge you on an eBike and at the same time paint a grin on your face. The air really only stays away from you on the summit. The view of the vineyards of the Bündner Herrschaft and the Rhine Valley is simply breathtaking.The downhill trail, which leads through numerous steep hairpin bends from the Vorder Ochsenberg via Türlis to Fläsch, is no less exciting. If you are not in the mood for a technical descent, you can look forward to the equally great alternative route, which bypasses the Schnielkopf and, after a short counter climb, finally leads down over Halden to the Feldrüfi stream.
This wonderful circular tour takes you from Prättigau via Furnerberg on single trails and beautiful paths past the Trimmiser Alp down to the Chur Rhine Valley and back comfortably back to Prättigau. On the way, you will be regularly spoiled with wonderful views, which will compensate you for the violent 1,840 vertical meters over 55 kilometers (even for eBikers).After starting in Grüsch at the valley station of the Grüsch-Danusa mountain railways, the route leads along riverside paths and on very beautiful ascending and descending single trails along the Landquart. From Schiers you roll flat and comfortable to Pragg Jenaz.This is where the steep and paved ascent to the pretty mountain village of Furna begins. In the beautiful church, it is worth taking a look at the impressive panorama of the Rätikon chain. From Furna you continue climbing on the mountain road to Alp Rona. Here begins a beautiful single trail that takes you smoothly through the hilly area. On the way there is the possibility to recharge your eBike battery and yourself in the Berghaus Schwenzelegg.The trail ends in the beautiful Scära on the Alp and it is very steep downhill to the Alpweg towards Stams. You continue on a beautiful path through the picturesque Maiensäss settlement of Stams and then downhill on asphalt through the villages of Says and Trimmis to the beautiful Rhine.The route now leads briefly along the Rhine to Zizers and further to Igis to Marschlins Castle. At the Ganda the valley gets narrower and leads you through the narrow Chlus on flat and cozy paths back to Grüsch im Prättigau.
