Experience two river valleys that impress with old mill buildings and karst rocky landscape.You start at the end of the valley of the two river valleys: in Weismain, the gateway to the Franconian Jura. Follow the signs with the brown mill wheel, which first leads you along Krassach towards Wunkendorf. On your way to the Jura heights, you drive through well-known rock towers, such as the Jura Guardian, through shady forests.Via the high plateau you can reach the juniper slopes of the Kleinziegenfeld valley and wave to the cyclist Claudius. If you are lucky, you will meet the wandering shepherd with his herd on the way.On your way back to Weismain you will be accompanied by Weismain, which has created a beautiful valley. The tour takes you through forest and field, again and again into small Franconian villages, which invite you to beer and snacks with their restaurants.At the end, lakes in Wiesen and Bad Staffelstein call, which promise to cool down. The panorama tour in the Obermain Jura is the short version of a bike tour that connects us with our neighbors Rennsteig-Coburg. Great views of the Veste Coburg, the Staffelberg panorama as well as our other landmarks Kloster Banz and Vierzehnheiligen give the tour its name. Follow the marking with the image of the Coburg Veste and the Basilica Vierzehnheiligen.Steep climbs and rapid descents alternate on this tour. The almost 20 kilometers are quite tough. For this you will be rewarded with extraordinary foresight.Look forward to a varied tour in the up and down, through forest and corridor, which mostly runs on paved paths. The short, crisp round tour starts in the Main Valley, in Bad Staffelstein and leads up to the rocky Jura heights. Look forward to crisp climbs and rapid descents with numerous highlights on the tour. For orientation you can follow the C on a red background.The first highlight, the pilgrimage basilica Vierzehnheiligen, immediately challenges your thighs: the path leads steeply past the basilica to the heights of the Jura. Quiet roads and paths await you on the high plateau.In constant ups and downs you collect meters of altitude, pass the natural monuments "Hohler Stein" and "Kemitzenstein", which invite you to pause. After the small town of Krögelhof, the route descends rapidly into the Lautertal valley, which entices you to feast with its local brewery restaurants.Following the volume, you can comfortably let the tour run out to Staffelstein.
