From summer 2019, you can discover four new trails and lines as well as a pump track in Saalfelden Leogang, Austria’s ultimate bike region that fulfils all your biking wishes. Winding through pristine nature and along forest paths, the Antonius trail offers nearly a mile (1.4 kilometres) of technically demanding and exhilarating riding. Afterwards, you’ll be out of breath but happy and shout “again!” There's a lot on offer at Saalfelden Leogang – maybe you would prefer the new, hand-built Schwarzleotrail with its north shores or the more technical advanced Forsthof Trail, which leads past rocks and streams with its hairpin bends. Or, you can also enjoy full flow on the 10 kilometres long Steinberg Line by FOX. Luckily, you’ll have enough time to ride all of the beautiful new trails in Saalfelden Leogang.

There is so much to discover: countless mountain bike routes of all levels of difficulty and numerous valley bike paths in Saalfelden Leogang will transform you from a beginner biker into a pro. Whether you are looking for a short and easy route, a challenging single trail or an adrenaline-loaded trail for world champions – you are guaranteed biking fun here.

Experienced bike guides, such as those from the Elements outdoorsports bike school, will accompany you on every ride if you wish. There are also special bike hotels in Saalfelden Leogang and knowledgeable bike shops in the region offer the latest bikes and equipment.

You can easily reach Saalfelden Leogang by plane from major UK airports via Salzburg, Munich or Innsbruck. Most airlines carry bikes as long as they are packed in a protective box or bike bag.
