Welcome to Orbit360 – Germany’s 1st Gravel Series with 16 routes – one for each state in Germany. From 04.07.-06.09.2020 the race is on – whenever you want! Collect points for each route, whoever collects the most points will become “Germany’s 1st Gravel Series” champion. Or simply just ride to have fun, join the big community and support Orbit360.We like racing, but most of all we love just riding bikes. That’s why we organised 16 Orbits – created by the gravel community – to experience great tracks all over the country. So whether you race or if you just go for the gentle jaunt – it’s your adventure. Either way, the real question remains: How many Orbits will you ride this season? For more information and registration go to: orbit360.cc

We recommend starting the tour in the north to see as much of the mountains as possible in daylight.
Below the "Großhesseloher Brücke" railway bridge you start directly at the beautiful Isar. Only a few meters away from the route are the Isar trails, a well-known and popular place for…

Above Summt, the route takes you through the forest, along beautiful single tracks to two lakes with a bathing place. Then it goes on a long gravel road, where lying on and accelerating is really worth it. At full speed it's all about the beautiful nature reserve Schönower Heide.
The next 15 km the track…

The route can be started at any point. There is no fixed start and end point.
The route leads to the Biesenthal basin via imposing riverside paths along Lake Liepnitz. The bog and its flora give the feeling of being in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. Then it goes over asphalted…

One third gravel, one third headwind and one third headwind gravel. Elevation gain will at least not be a problem here. In the flat land of the dikes, the Bremen orbit strikes the North Sea at its northernmost point and gives you a unique view into the distance on the outer dike. The…

Route descriptions:
Since the ferry in Hamburg influences the total time of the route to a not insignificant extent, this is no longer a compulsory part of the route. We recommend starting at starting point A (Övelgönne) and finishing the orbit in Finkenwerder (point B). This is only a recommendation…

The almost northernmost point of this round is reached via gravel, meadow trails, fields and mystical forest sections shortly after the Michelnau quarry museum.
From here you board past the Hillersbach reservoir, parallel to the volcanic cycle path, down the Vogelsberg in a northerly…

The route can basically start at any point, but the description starts in Buchholz, at the Suerhop station. The route runs clockwise.
A few general words: restaurants, supermarkets etc. are rather rare. Sufficient water is important because rivers, streams etc. are rare. Churches with…

You start at one of the most important places of pilgrimage for most of Cologne: the RheinEnergieSTADION in Cologne, home of 1. FC Köln and the Cologne lifestyle. Without much detour, however, you move through the green belt (the lungs of Cologne) out of town, pass the Otto-Maigler…

The waterway cross: a colossus made of concrete that leads one river over the other. A start to an adventure couldn't be more impressive. From here you go on the well-known Elbe Cycle Path, which winds its way towards Magdeburg and past it on changing surfaces. In the south it goes…

Starting from the northernmost point and following the route clockwise, you are at Bungsberg, at 167 m the highest elevation in Schleswig-Holstein, in the middle of the so-called "Holstein Switzerland". From there it is mostly about technically simple forest paths, paths and roads.
Along…

From the “Caravanpark Schwarzatal” camping site, you head over the Saalfeld heights on a route that is peppered with short, toxic climbs and crisp single trails towards Saalfeld. In Saalfeld you will reach the well-known "Saalfeld fairy grottoes" - a huge disused mine that has been…
