Saying farewell to group rides does not mean you have to say goodbye to peace of mind. I’ve never mind riding alone, I like getting lost in my own thoughts. By the time I’ve arrived home, I feel refreshed and inspired. Avoiding people is something different. Living in a pretty dense area, it’s a challenge to find quiet roads. But I think I’ve managed to create some ‘backroad’ routes. I would also advise you to take advantage of these lovely spring evenings and carefully choose the time to hop on the bike!I love to share my #ridesolo adventures with you. Feel free to explore them! i-ris.cc
Route based on the famous #Pathfinder. So credits to Yorit Kluitman (also for the photos, by the way). The beauty of this route is the variety of forest, heather, single tracks, sandy paths and sometimes a piece of asphalt to recover.
Do not drive it on Sunday morning, but choose a nice (spring) evening just like us, then you have all the paths for yourself!
Singletracks all day! Do this route on the MTB (or you must have a lot of gravel bike skills;)) Especially the part north of Ede is super fun and very quiet. The route is made up of several MTB routes in this region. It is therefore advisable to drive outside 'peak hours'.Note: This route is a combination of MTB trials. Keep that in mind and avoid peak hours!

Backroads in Limburg. Not too crazy and certainly also possible on the gravel bike. A little single tracks, a little gravel paths. Above all, you see Limburg from a different angle!Note: The hill country is currently closed. We made this drive after 6 pm (when the roads are open again). Furthermore, avoided as many (beaten) roads as possible.Note 2: Point A is a parking lot - you can also skip the part from point A to Fixed Gear Coffee!
