An attempt to double and cross in as few kilometers and with as few as possible to reach the 2000 altimeters in the Reichswald. The route is mainly for mountain bikes, although it is not impossible with a gravel bike. Paths are good in spring, in summer it may be more difficult due to vegetation. In winter, mud can throw a spanner in the works in some places;). TIP: Before you go, check where the route crosses and doubles.
In 1980, the pastor of Nütterden out of love for the Reichswald marked all the tops with a stone. Of the 31 placed stones, 28 can still be done by bicycle. This route is a pilgrimage along all of them. Number of altimeters of this route is around 1000.

My own interpretation of Dirty Kanzelled. As many well-running MTB trails as possible, as many altimeters as possible, as much climbing as possible. Fortunately, we had enough time in the last months to explore things, so we can really enjoy a very varied route through the Rijk van Nijmegen and the Reichswald. The times I had to get off the bike for a fallen tree can be counted on one hand. Along the way I only saw a few pieces of which I thought: I would do something different next time. All knocked like a bus. The best time to drive this route is March to May. Some single tracks close quickly (especially in the Reichswald), but they are quite easy to get out if necessary, and there are not that many.
Route that follows the outer edge of the Reichswald as much as possible. This is often literally along the fence, sometimes it is a bit more difficult. The trails vary from simple, straight gravel strips, to wide forest paths, sometimes some asphalt and (especially at Kleve) every now and then a beautiful single track.
