Beautiful wide but winding and gently climbing gravel road through one of the larger heathlands of the Loenermark, with fantastic views along the way. The gravel is a bit loose here and there, but usually the path is fine for all bikes - including racing bikes. Halfway through, you can enjoy the view for an extra long time on the bench at the top of one of the slopes of the road.

Road Cycling Highlight (Segment)
One of the most beautiful climbs in the Netherlands with two hairpin bends. Tip! Don't destroy yourself at the start, the climb slows down towards the end and this is the ideal point to start another sprint.

Amazing gravelroad with Paris-Roubaix-like vibes. Even has an unsecured railroad crossing. It ends on a bigger road, but cyclists are allowed on that road. There are even signs to warn cars for cyclists!

The former radio station Radio Kootwijk is a unique and monumental building. You really have to stop here to see the imposing building up close. Everything is special about this building: the history, style and location.

Keienstrook Wezup

This cobbled section (keienstrook) with the name Wezup is a truly harsh one. Where other cobble sections in the region are sometimes overgrown with mosses and cracks filled up with sand, this one is so clean you feel every bump and stone... making it even worse than the ones that are bad.

Road Cycling Highlight
Very nice place De Proloog, also in the middle of a ride, for an Engadine Nusstorte with a cappuccino. Inspiring, there are always other cyclists on the weekend. The meeting point for drivers in Amerongen.
