Also - los geht´s!
Einfach mal in meinen Collections stöbern...

Small round with a dog across the fields behind Landkern.

The paths still muddy, but the sun shows up a bit.

Today's tour can only be described as beautiful!

My hiking trail runs between Landkern and Illerich over hilly fields that descend towards the valley of the Kaderbach, along lower oak groves, through a dark spruce forest that borders the Kaderbach

Today's tour has been in the planning folder for a long time. Prerequisite for this tour: no floods!

Today is not the best hiking weather, but it is mostly dry, if quite windy.

The Markweg is a popular hiking trail for dog owners, health-conscious Nordic walkers and mountain bikers. But I don't see anyone

Today's hike took me through the extended home region of the Eifel.

On earlier trips through Landkern, the signs "Wanderweg 3+4" made me curious and I used a hiking map to transfer the tours to Komoot.

The weather today was already slightly spring-like, sun, clouds, a little storm and the first returning

Today's tour takes me to and over the neighboring town of Klotten. A long time ago I put together a "Klotten home tour" with small highlights.

The tour starts at Klotten train station or the car park on Moselstrasse. From there the path is not far to the entrance of the Kaderbach valley. The lively brook

The spring-like weather lures out. What could be nicer than just stepping out the front door-dog on a leash and running. In Untercond on the Kreuzweg, high up to the chapel and even higher up to the Brauselaykanzel. From there I can look far up and down the Moselle. From the pulpit we now walk over a

Today was a tour at our own gates: hiking on the Moselhöhenweg / Eifel.

There is actually such a high trail in the Eifel and on the Hunsrück.

The trail begins at the Old Bridge and runs past the high school over the three crosses. I modified the route here a bit

Today is all about the mill - a relic from ancient times that has shaped the landscape here on the Moselle and its side valleys and whose buildings are used today privately or as holiday homes. Whenever I see mill buildings, I am impressed by their size.

Large mill buildings with mill ponds had plenty

There are hiking trails that are just plain good for your health. The Wacholder-Endert-Trail is one of them. And that's it.

Until 2018 it was a certified hiking trail, now forestry office machines dominate the forest scenery from Alflen to the first Endertbrücke

April weather in December! The insane weather is to blame for the fact that the Moselcamino from Bruttig to Treis only became one lap over the Conder Höhe.

This time I reactivated a hiking trail in Brauselaystrasse that has not been used for a long time. It no longer exists on the hiking map, Komoot has

For today I put together a real Advent walk.

A friend made me aware of the crib walk in Kell. The former mayor of the village has set up on the dream path section around Kell 69 cribs of various kinds. The nativity scenes stand on or in tree stumps, in tree hollows, under roots, between trees etc. The

Combining the pleasant with the useful is always a nice thing. Buy flowers at Laacher Kloster and then walk around the lake.

I chose Georoute L this time. Basically, I'm running part of the tour on the crater rim here - an idea that I find interesting.

All in all, the tour is more of a transmigration

Today I have an appointment in Hunsrück connected with a small hike.

The parking lot in Mittelstrimmig in front of the church is the starting point. From here you are very fast in the field, in the woods and even downhill towards Flaumbach.

The first ways to just behind the via ferrata - there are three

Today I finally got through and went to Faider Saarburg.

The weather is not exactly inviting: It's drizzling, it's mushy and it's foggy. Rather a weather to sit wrapped in a blanket on the sofa with a good book!

I decide to lace my boots and look for the Saarburg.

Already for months I have brought everything

A typical small weekday tour. Not far away, short but informative and the movement is not too short.

My starting point today was in Bruttig on the banks of the Mosel. From there I explored the place in front of and behind the railway embankment, in order to head towards the Moselsteig and walk to the

A little sun, a lot of fog and dry. This is not a dream hiking weather, but it still lured me to the door.

Today it should go over the Treiser mountain, the shock. At 426 meters, it is not the highest mountain in the area, but everyone here knows it. "You have never been in shock?" So far, I just shrugged

My tour today is already on the program for a long time. It is ideal for rainy days, because the trails are mostly good to go and scenic.

The starting point of the tour is any parking below the golf resort Ediger-Eller, which is located at the height at Brauheck.

The path to Ediger leads through the Pehrtal

After a busy Saturday, I decided today for the cult Roman graves Nehren. The path runs partly identically on the Moselsteig and the path of religions (Ediger Eller), a little way through the Natuschutzgebiet Ediger Laach. The winemaker Nehren offers a very old church from the 14th century.
