    At the parking lot Bachwinkl Saalfelden, this somewhat challenging hike starts following the signs to the Peter Wiechentaler Hut (1752 m, ascent 2.5 h); initially through shady forest, later through rocky terrain. For a more demanding route to the hut, the signposted Jägersteig can be turned off - only for experienced, vertigo-free hikers.The Peter Wiechentaler Hütte offers regional delicacies. Back to the valley it goes for the inexperienced on the same way. Further descent possibilities offer the Wasserfallsteig direction Stoissengraben or a approx. 140 hm ascent direction Persailhorn with following descent to the Steinalm.     The starting point of this circular route is the Bürgerau Saalfelden car park. From there you walk over a bridge past the beautiful castle Lichtenberg through the woods up to the hermitage. From here we continue to Bachwinkel and then on the walk back to the starting point to stroll.
