Why does everything taste better after you climb a summit under your own steam and sit on the green, grassy forest floor, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes? We can’t explain it either, but it does!
Mountain huts, inns and alpine pastures in the Hall-Wattens region have excellent food, genuine hospitality and work magic for your physical well-being.
This Collection combines the wonderful mountain world of the Hall-Wattens region with its foodie side. On the Tours selected here, a Tyrolean delicacy always awaits you at the end or as you hike.
The ancient Lizumer Zirbenweg or "Zirmweg" leads along the eastern side of the valley along the Lizumerbach to Melang.
Here it goes over alpine meadows to the Innerlannalm (1,684 meters).
The next 300 vertical meters climb the Zirmweg up the beautiful pine forest to the Lizumerhütte in the Wattental (2…
The Volder Valley is a long side valley of the Inn Valley. Alpine pasture farming is still practiced here today, so you hike over picturesque mountain pastures with happy cows. The valley is hardly developed for tourism and is still a nice insider tip.
You start your hike at the Volderwildbad hiking car…

There are several ways to this wonderful viewpoint and place of power. From Thaur it is best to take the path from the "Thaurer Alm" car park.
From the hiking car park, just above Thaur, you can decide after just a few minutes whether you follow the forest path comfortably or climb steeply into the Haslbergsteig…
From the Halltal car park it goes along the driveway or, more excitingly, along the Knappensteig into the rugged Halltal. The meter-high walls do not let you guess which idyllic place you come after about 1 1 / 2h hike.
From the car park at St. Martin (890 m), follow the asphalt toll road at the beginning, but leave it immediately and follow the signposted path towards the Hinterhornalm (1,522 m). If you want, you can also drive up the toll road to the Hinterhornalm car park and thus shorten the tour!
At the Hinterhornalm…
The start is at the Halltal entrance. On the way up to the rugged Halltal valley, you will pass the St. Magdalena inn and continue to the manor houses. Here the path continues to Issjöchl. Once there, the Hall valley widens and you come to the idyllic flower paradise "Issanger".
Now it goes steeply up…
We start the tour at the Halltal entrance above Absam. We follow the road straight into the rugged Hall valley.
With the large water intake below the "begging throw" we have the choice to continue via the "escape route" (recommendation!) Or to overcome the begging throw to the second loading hut on the…
From the parking lot at the Walchen camp in the Wattental, first follow the paved road into the valley. At the end of the barracks area, turn right into the Mölstal and follow Almweg 328. The path is quite steep at the beginning, but later winds up more gently. The view of the end of the valley and the…
On the slopes of the Karwendel you can experience fantastic alpine nature and visit rustic mountain pastures. One of the most beautiful is the Walderalm. From the Hinterhornalm a natural trail leads you through mountain forests and across meadows to the picturesque mountain village.
You start your hike…
We park the car a little further east of the hamlet of St. Michael.
Directly opposite the bus stop up through the settlement, shortly right and immediately left again into the pine forest (signposted Walderalm / soccer field).
Pass the soccer field on the right and the old Walderalmweg in several hairpin…
From Tulfes take the Glungezerbahn to the Tulfeinalm.
From there, the signposted hiking trail leads south to the Schaferalm and the Schartenkogel. Pass the Schaferhütte on the beautifully landscaped panoramic path towards the summit and the Glungezer hut just below.
The hiking trail is well marked and…
The Vomper Loch is one of the most untouched valleys in the Karwendel. On this tour you walk above the valley and you can expect great views. There are also two cozy alpine huts on the hike. Especially in autumn, when the sycamore turns golden, a touch of Canada blows through the valley.
The tour starts…
