Alle Teilabschnitte:Teil 1 (Tavernier–Grassy Key): komoot.de/tour/161475355

Florida Keys - the southernmost part of the East Coast GreenwayIn March 2020 we conquered the southernmost part of the East Coast Greenway (greenway.org) by bike. Experienced climbers can safely complete the approx. 160km in tailwind in one day; we took our time In short: the route is very impressive, although not necessarily "beautiful", as is known from many other long-distance cycling routes. The buildings are quite monotonous and the route is quite noisy. For the most part, the bike path on the Keys is also the hard shoulder of US Highway No. 1.We rented the bikes in Tavernier and were able to park them at the airport in Key West. All sections:Part 1 (Tavernier – Grassy Key): komoot.de/tour/161475355

The last section led us from the lighthouse to the airport, where we took a rental car (pre-ordered in D) and left the bike for the landlord (see: komoot.de/tour/161475355). With headwind it was a lot harder - we were glad to have had the whole tour to Key West sliding wind. All sections:
