Der Hemannsweg ist ein toller Wanderweg durch den Teutorburgerwald. Der Teutoburgerwald ist ein Mittelgebirge im nördlichen NRW, sprich im westfälischen Teil nahe der Grenze zu Niedersachsen. Der Hermannsweg hat sogar Abschnitte die nach Niedersachsen hineinreichen.
Auf den ganzen Zwischenstationen gibt es sehr gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten und meist auch gute Anbindung an die Öffentlichenverkehrsmittel. Verpflegung auf dem Weg ist auch kein Problem. Persönlich finde ich, der Hermannsweg ist ein super Weg für den Einstieg in die Fernwanderwege.

Day 2 of the Hermannsweg. It was a great day, I stayed at the Hotel Riesenbeck, very nice host, moderate price with terrific breakfast and very nice rooms (one of the few hotels where you get free drinks as much as you want).
