Daniel Stufflesser, who runs his BikeHotel in Dignon, is a mountain biker through and through. And for him that means not only being out in the open and rocking the hammer trails in Val Gardena and the Dolomites, but also working to build new trails and create new routes. That's commitment, this is the trail attorney. According to his taste, this mountain bike tour is in Val Gardena."I love to be outside and do not mind taking the Sellaronda with my guests and friends once a week. That's just a highlight. But only to reduce Val Gardena to Sellella's Bella is wrong. For panorama lovers and connoisseurs, I recommend the Seiser Alm panorama tour and the tour to the Laurinhütte. "The Seiser Alm panorama tour is for real connoisseurs. Not only because of their breathtaking panoramic views: the majority of the elevation gets done by the cable car to the Alpe di Siusi. Once at the top, you can look forward to a wonderful tour that goes downhill for the most part. But that's not all. An absolute pleasure highlight is waiting for you with the smokehouse. Plan some time here for an unforgettable break with really delicious food and a fantastic view.

This tour is one of the favorite tours of Daniel Stufflesser, who not only runs the BikeHotel Digon in Ortisei in Val Gardena, but also loves mountain biking and therefore is the perfect contact when it comes to beautiful excursions through the Dolomites. The round takes you up to the Alpe di Siusi and is just right for you, if you want to earn the experience on Europe's largest high alpine pasture with your own muscle power. On the way there are always refreshments and of course you are always accompanied by a breathtaking view. Effort and enjoyment are therefore not a contradiction on this tour, but complement each other perfectly! The stage destination on the approximately 33-kilometer round is the Laurinhütte. Here you can plan a little more time to refresh yourself in peace, to treat yourself to a delicious, regional food and to enjoy the beautiful view of the Alm from the sun terrace. Then a breathtaking descent back to the valley awaits you. In Kastelruth, it is worthwhile to bring a little more time to explore the picturesque town center and to strengthen you again, before it goes on wonderful trails back to Ortisei.

The Hotel Erica in Deutschnofen is BikeHotel the first hour. Luis, the host, knows his homeland Eggental very well and recommends the tour from Obereggen to Jochgrimm, a tour with fantastic views and a varied character."Such a fantastic view of Latemar, Catinaccio and Sciliar is not every day. The three landmarks of South Tyrol and the Eggental can be seen in this splendor only from the Jochgrimm. And the tour to the yoke - it is located between Schwarzhorn and Weißhorn - is also not bad. Trails alternate with forest roads and these in turn with hardly busy side roads. And as always with us in South Tyrol, the stop in a rustic alpine hut must not be missed! "There is not much left to add to that. In this sense: Have fun biking and enjoying!

This round about 32 kilometers long is one of the favorite tours of hotelier Luis, whose comfortable bike hotel "Erica" is a great starting point for various mountain bike rides. From Deutschnofen it leads in the form of an eight in the north, where as a highlight a great view of Bolzano and the stop in the cozy Gasthaus Schneider meadows waiting for you.On the way you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountains to the fullest. Particularly charming is this tour around the small mountain settlement Kohlern, which is a true oasis of peace, surrounded by forests and meadows and with wonderful views of parts of the Adige Valley. Do you feel like some urban hubbub in between? Then take a short detour to the "Gateway to the Dolomites": The Kohler cable car is the oldest free-floating cable car in the world and takes you directly to the shore of the Eisack, on the edge of the South Tyrolean capital.Tip:
If you have little time, you can easily shorten the tour to a quick ten-kilometer round by simply omitting the second arc of the "eight".

Boris Frei is an avid mountain biker and hotelier in his bike hotel "Design Hotel Tyrol". He knows every tour in Vinschgau and Meran and is one of the best in terms of personal tour advice. One of his absolute favorite tours he introduces us here."It does not always have to be technically difficult and unbelievably demanding: mountain biking should be a pleasure, especially on vacation. The Vigiljoch is for me one of the coolest places in Meran and surroundings. The view is terrific, the place itself a source of strength for me personally. To get there, you can kick or shorten half the way with the Aschbach train. No matter what you decide to do when you're up there, you'll be overjoyed! "Of course, the view from the top is a unique highlight. But the rest of this approximately 36-kilometer, varied tour will enchant you. Wonderful trails await you and breathtaking views. On the way there are always opportunities to stop, so you will not only experience the scenic, but also the culinary attractions of South Tyrol.

This 35-kilometer tour is one of Boris Frei's favorite tours, leading his bike hotel in Rabland and an enthusiastic mountain biker himself. His motto is: "Mountain biking should also be a pleasure, especially on vacation". This round is absolutely fair!To get to the start of the tour, you can get from the Aschbach cable car on "travel height" bring. Once at the top, you have the opportunity to strengthen yourself in the excursion restaurant before it gets down to business on the bike. To warm up you deserve yourself a few extra meters of altitude from your own muscle power, before you drive the first proper singletrack. Along the Merano Bikehighline, you can now enjoy mountain bike fun at its best - accompanied by wonderful views. To return to the valley, the highlight of the tour is waiting for you: the long descent on the Lupo Trail. Created especially for bikers, you will enjoy a flowing and usually easy to drive singletrack, which leads you to Tabland, or Naturns. From here you roll along the Adige river comfortably back to the starting point of the tour.Tip:
Once you have reached the top of the Highline, you have different options to vary this tour. Because from the top different trails forks, which lead you all back to the valley. A nice alternative is for example the "Fontana Trail". If you want to let it crack, you can on the traces of the Ötzi and take the demanding "Ötzi Trail".
