Expert mountain bike ride. Very good fitness required. Suitable for all skill levels.

Our Sport-version is 11km longer, and as expected dishes out a lot more climbing to compensate! At the Ayagaures Reservoir checkpoint, the group splits, and we head off into the quiet interior of the island. We ride precariously upwards on loose trails high above the dam, with constant gradient changes up to 20%. You’ll be glad of the return journey, all fun downhill, all the way back to Free Motion. A tour for physically fit mountain bikers!

The more technical and rocky (Expert) version of the Green North tour. Through Eucalyptus forests at first, we reach the water village Firgas for lunch. Some extra energy is needed as there's climbing ahead, only we will ride berms and drops in the forest to break it into two parts. Amazing trails with good flow towards El Picacho. The finale requires your full attention on narrow, rocky trails before meeting up with the others in Arucas.

Adding more climbs, but still inside the second biggest crater on the island. Starting above San Bartolomé on a narrow track, passing Risco Blanco with flowy trails before and also after Santa Lucia. Lunch stop in a Canarian style village. Palm groves get passed by multiple times, and onto the west side of the Tirajana Crater with a hard, but spectacular crossing of the valley. We'll finish near the ocean at Romeral.

Starting at the highest point of the island, this tour-version has steeper and more technical descents - and thus, are shorter than the normal one. From Roque Grande la Grande Bajada to the rock garden trails onto a very long, and partly technical descent, with tight switchbacks becoming paved towards the end. Downhill track with berms and good flow to connect with San Juan after lunch, before finishing 10 meters from the sea.

Tour start above Cruz Grande, with rocky trails and rock gardens. Then onto flowy trails allowing us to cruise through the Parque Natural de Pilancones with a big smile. Alongside coffee, the famous San Bartolomé square bakery offers local "Tarta de Santiago" and other delicacies if you prefer. Stuffed, we head down the Fataga valley. After a few climbs on the tarmac, we finish off the week with a new trail from Yeguas all the way down to Playa.
