Welcome to Austria's largest bike region! In the last few years, Saalfelden Leogang has repeatedly inspired with new trails and lines as well as a brand new, asphalt pumptrack - no wishes left unfulfilled. On the Asitz, the new, natural single trail is currently being built. With the AlteSchmiede Trail, Austria's largest biker region is expanding its range of single trails from the end of July and offers the perfect trail fun for bike-loving families. In Saalfelden Leogang, a beautiful mountain range in Austria’s Salzburg region, you’ll find great riding – whether you are a downhill fan, free rider, or mountain bike rider.
With extended and varied trails, Austria’s biggest biking region is legendary in the MTB world; the park also hosts the MTB Downhill World Cup. The narrow Antonius Trail runs for 0.8 miles (1.4 km) through evergreen forest, combining beautiful nature with technically-challenging riding. You’ll finish out of breath, but hungry for more. If hairpin bends and north shores are your thing, then you can check out the Schwarzleotrail (Black Leotrail). Find your flow on the Steinberg Line by FOX and enjoy even more north shores on the Forshof Trail. This year, an additional conveyor belt and new tracks have been added to the Riders Playground, where you can practice your skills. There’s also a new dirt jump on the pump track.
At the park, an experienced bike guide, such as from Elements Outdoor Sports Bike School, will accompany you on your rides if you wish. You can also stay at one of the bike hotels in Saalfelden Leogang which are set up for bikers. Bike shops in the area offer equipment and high-end mountain bike hire, so you can even travel to the park without your gear.
The epic trails at Bikepark Leogang are easy to reach from across Europe. Munich, Innsbruck, and Salzburg, which have excellent train links, are a short transfer from the park.
