Welcome to St. Anton, welcome to the Tyrolean Alps. Finally out into nature and the mountains again, up to rugged peaks and breathe in fresh mountain air — this summer your mountain experience will be something very special. Our entire region — from St. Anton am Arlberg to Flirsch and Strengen — has been dressed up after a winter of absolute peace and quiet, making this year's mountain summer a unique experience.
Now it's time to put on your hiking boots and stroll in the Alps again. We’ve put together 12 fantastic hikes for you here. With each step through the beautiful west of Austria, you can expect fun, stunning nature and many culinary delights that are typical to the region. Far away from hectic cities, you are transported to a mountainous idyll with nothing but the infinitely soothing silence of the Alps in your ears.
Around St. Anton, there are over 186 miles (300 km) of marked hiking trails waiting to be discovered by you. In other cases, the bus will take you through the scenic landscape to your starting point. And, sometimes you "fly" to the start by cable car.
Climb peaks, swim in mountain lakes and taste the region’s culinary delights – nothing is missing when you hike on the Arlberg. At the end of your visit, you will realize that few areas offer such varied nature – have fun discovering it!
