Mishmar HaEmek offers a nice playground: short ascents & excellent moderate trails down (mainly S1 & S2), super fun to ride. Some nice jumps, rocky parts & north shore elements make it even more fun! Perfect area for half a day.

The "green lung" located about mid-way between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem: Ben Shemen forest offers XC rides par excellence! We were super lucky to be there when the Bike Demo Day took place and had an amazing time with the local Bike Community!

In Israel, there are only flowy desert trails? Not.at.all! The local community is busy building and shaping trails. What has been built around Jerusalem in recent years is amazing! If you like technical trails you will like it a lot: rocky DH sections, big Drops and steep parts is what you can expect…

The Sugar Trail is an old trade route that was used to transport goods up from the Dead Sea towards Jerusalem. Today, with the help of a shuttle to the top, it is the perfect MTB trail. The Sugartrail starts in Ma’ale Adumim and you very quickly find yourself surrounded by never-ending desert. Soak up…

What a day - what a ride! We absolutely loved this trail! Already at the start all our concentration was required: loose rocks & boulder fields were quite demanding. A ride towards the lowest point on earth (>400 below sea level), directly to the Dead Sea - super epic! Floating in the Dead Sea with a…

Steep cliffs of red and white sandstone, granite peaks, natural arches and rocks that look like petrified giant mushrooms. And the best thing: you can ride your MTB through this amazing…

On our last days of our Israel trip our new friends from Jerusalem, Kobi & Ofir invited us again to join them for a ride and local food afterwards. We started early bird - and it was sooo worth it! The right mix of flow and technical sections, combined with great views, and of course an amazing crew…

Eliran, a local Guide from Jerusalem and also part of the huge MTB Community around Israel invited us to join him and some of his friends for another desert ride to the Mar Saba Monastery. It is a Greek Orthodox monastery in the Kidron Valley in the Judah Desert, 12 km east of Bethlehem. Mar Saba is…

Mountain Biking Highlight
The Mar Saba Monastary hangs dramatically down the cliff edge of a deep ravine. From this side you have the perfect view to the Monastary. Also the ride is super cool, but be aware that is super exposed from time to time. If you don't feel comfortable, it's better to hike your bike.

Mountain Biking Highlight
Several covered camping zones. Ideal for groups or families. Toilets and showers well maintained and clean. Small shop with coffee and snacks. Phone charging station. The site is maintained by the parks and nature authority (RATAG) and provides useful information about trails and the surrounding.
