Escape the city and head to the mountains. In Kufsteinerland, the spectacular Kaiser Mountains and two nature reserves, Zahmer and Wilder Kaiser are ready to welcome you. Wonderful hiking trails and challenging climbs will take you through dense forests of mountain pines to luscious alpine pastures, and up rugged peaks. In this Collection, we show you three two-day routes that are perfect for a weekend city detox in Kufsteinerland. Equipped with sure-footedness and sturdy shoes, you are ready to take on the Kaiser Mountains, hike the Zahmer Kaiser high trail, and conquer the Wilder Kaiser route. You will stay overnight in comfortable huts surrounded by incredible mountain scenery.

You can look forward to unspoiled nature, peace and quiet, a dip in a crystal-clear lake, and rustic huts serving regional delicacies along each of the routes in this Collection.

You can comfortably travel to the start of the hikes with public transport. Within one hour from Munich, for example, you reach Kufstein where there are connections to buses or trains that take you to the starting points of the tours. Kufstein is also home to the Kaiserlift, which takes you from the city directly into the breathtaking nature of the mountains.

    The two-day hike on the Zahmer Kaiser begins in Ebbs. Here you can get well with the regional bus 4030 from the train station in Kufstein. You can reach Kufstein with the trains of the Meridian from Munich, for example.After you have comfortably hiked from the center of Ebbs, the ascent via the Musikantensteig begins, which requires a little surefootedness. Once at the top you can take a well-deserved break in the Vorderkaiserfeldenhütte. Here you can enjoy the wonderful view over the Wilder Kaiser and let yourself be spoiled with Tyrolean specialties.With new strength you hike on the Zahmer Kaiser Höhenweg, from which you always have a great view of the Wilder Kaiser.     The two-day tour through the Kaiser Mountains begins at the Kaisertal ascent. You can get here comfortably from the train station in Kufstein with the city bus Kufstein 1.
