Gentle hills overlooking the Alps, beautiful lakes, rich history, topped off with delicious culinary delights – the Salzburg Lake District is a wonderful area to explore by bike. With over 370 miles (600 km) of cycle paths, the region spoils you for choice. In this Collection, we present nine wonderful routes that take you to the region’s most beautiful corners around the Wallersee, Mattsee, Grabensee, and Obertrumer lakes.

Each Tour is dedicated to an exciting theme and has a different difficulty level so families, sports enthusiasts, and leisurely cyclists alike can enjoy the Salzburg Lake District. Many routes can also be combined, so you can flexibly plan your trip.

On the Baroque Route, you will discover baroque treasures whilst the two herb trails take you from garden to garden. In between, you can immerse yourself in lush green hills and wonderful views. When you are ready for a break, you can take a dip in the cool water of one of many lakes. You will find friendly accommodation in the Salzburg Lake District as well as traditional restaurants. So nothing stands in the way of your holiday!
