Ferner kommt man an vielen historisch-spannenden Plätzen vorbei.

Lots of forest, little Rhine! Was a nice exhausting tour. Unkel then went by ferry to Bonn. A great graduation!

Today we continued on the Rheinsteig. The tour had several crisp climbs that really had it. But there were many beautiful views of the Rhine to the Eifel. Nice on the climb is that you can always look back on the tour! Now we are k.o. but happy and looking forward to tomorrow's stage!

With our youthful carelessness, we actually wanted to run a 30 km stage. This was already doomed to failure with the late start to the day. After we went through very beautiful grapevines, our desire for a delicious white wine spritzer increased. Unfortunately, the Edmundhütte had, so we decided to go

Today we went to the "final stage" of Rheinsteig weekend. It was again a nice stage with great views of Andernach and Neuwied. Behind Leutesdorf the path from the Rhine through beautiful forests and orchards. It was again a nice "Rheinsteig weekend", which made you want to continue hiking.

Today we continued on the Rheinsteig! This time with 13 kg on his back. The only goal on Friday arriving at a station, which brings us back to Neuwied. The weather was good against the announcements and we stayed dry. At this stage we have never seen the Rhine. For us the Rheinsteig led us over beautiful forest roads!

After a short night, it went on leisurely today. A great stage with a strenuous climb to the Roman tower. However, we took more time today than hiked. ;)

Today we went to a short stage, as the return journey of our small and again wonderful "Rheinsteig episode" was imminent. The routes at this stage were not particularly appealing, as they led a lot through towns and urban outskirts. Class was the beginning of Vallendar and the degree at the Deutsches

Due to the late start we did not start as planned in Koblenz but on the outskirts of Koblenz.

A special highlight was the Rupertsklamm. Here you had to pass some climbing passages. For dogs but still feasible. Ekki needed only a small amount of support.

The Rheinsteig is getting better and better!

The first 7 km had it with three crisp climbs quite in itself. The second 7 km were läpp'sch;).

A beautiful tour where you almost always have the Rhine in view.

Today's tour was nice and moderate. There were, in terms of yesterday's stages, only two somewhat strenuous climbs. The weather was completely okay. Only two smaller showers we got. As in the other stages before, we had many beautiful views of the Rhine and the many castles.

At the end we took the train

The last section of the Rheinsteig will now be walked on. One year ago we stopped in Kestert. So today it continued at this point. As usual steep mountain! With about 13kg of luggage not an easy task. But she should give us a taste of the coming days ...

The longest stage of the tour was imminent today. The funny, we did not know anything about that in the run-up, because we thought the km was a bit wrong due to the unplanned short stage yesterday and actually came to 21 km today ... so at the end of the stage it was much longer ,

    Scenic you come from

The ascent and descent on the way are not that extreme, because the landscape is hilly. You can tell that clearly. You move faster.

At this stage there are many wide and beautiful views.

Today we planned to arrive at the hotel again. That was very welcome again after two days outdoors.

The last stage of our hiking trip, but also of the entire Rheinsteig was approaching today. Unfortunately Ramon had to take the bus to the finish today because he had severe pain in his knee and could not walk any further.

Today's stage flew by. This was probably because the stage was easy to walk, but
