Die Spree ist ein knapp 400 Kilometer langer linker Nebenfluss der Havel im Osten Deutschlands. Ihre Länge beträgt rund 400 Kilometer, wovon etwa 182 Kilometer schiffbar sind. Das Einzugsgebiet umfasst rund 10.000 Quadratkilometer.
Der Fluss entspringt im Lausitzer Bergland nahe der Grenze zu Tschechien aus drei Quellen: am Kottmar im Ortsteil Walddorf der Gemeinde Kottmar sowie in den Stadtteilen Ebersbach und Neugersdorf der Stadt Ebersbach-Neugersdorf. Die Spree fließt durch die Bundesländer Sachsen, Brandenburg und Berlin und mündet in Berlin-Spandau in die Havel.
Die bisherigen Etappen in dieser Collection sind Tagesetappen ab Berlin. Sie starten in Erkner und führen an der Spree, spreenahen Kanälen, Teichen und Seen entlang sowie durch an der Spree liegende Ortschaften.Weitere Etappen werden folgen ...
