The Pioneers are the heart of komoot, they share the most beautiful places with the community by their first-class highlights and high-quality pictures. Through their passion for sports, the Pioneers are a source of inspiration for other users. And that's exactly the goal of this program: to make you want to go out on an adventure and share it. Together, discovery tours are even more fun. Beautiful photos, helpful comments and breathtaking tours will also make you a Pioneer: Your reward is not only the recognition of the other users, but as a thank you you will also be invited to an unforgettable Pioneer trip. In this collection you'll get to know the four Pioneers Söhni, Robi, Andrea and UdoS. We've invited them to a long hiking weekend in Switzerland to explore the dreamlike mountain world of the Bernese Alps.
Be inspired by the trip of the four Pioneers: Pack your hiking boots and simply follow the three-day tour. The area around the legendary Eiger and the Jungfraujoch is one of the most spectacular sections of the Via Alpina – a varied long-distance hiking trail through the Alps connecting Vaduz with Montreux. The first two stages follow exactly this route, on the third day it descends to Reichenbach. You will experience gentle alpine pastures, spectacular peaks and rustic mountain huts.
The magnificent mountain world of the Swiss Alps seems inaccessible to you? Not at all, because both the starting point Grindelwald and the destination Reichenbach can be reached by train. For example, the journey from Reichenbach to Bern takes only 40 minutes and Grindelwald can be reached in one and a half hours. You can find more information about the connections at: sbb.ch/de/fahrplan.html
In addition, this multi-day hike can be perfectly combined with a visit to the fantastic Lake Thun or the deep blue Lake Brienz and thus extended to a varied holiday week. Your hiking adventure in Switzerland is already waiting for you! And don't forget to create fantastic photos and unique highlights so that you too can soon enjoy a Pioneer trip.
Here you can find the komoot profiles of our four hiking enthusiasts. Maybe you'd like to follow them?
