Hi Ben, sorry I only just saw your comment. Yeah I'd definitely recommend the route. After completing it I think you could shorten it by a day or 2, however some days were pretty tough and end in remote locations so you probably wouldn't want to push on. The entire route is about 70% off road which defiantly makes for some slower and slightly more painful days. Absolutely stunning locations though and well worth it.
