Lake Millstätter See offers everything mountain bikers, road cyclists and pleasure cyclists could wish for. Cycle routes and mountain bike trails will take you around the lake communities of Döbriach, Millstatt and Seeboden, up to the Nockberge mountains or into the wide Drautal valley and to Spittal, the district capital. Here, you will find routes for all riders and levels of difficulty. Combining a lake holiday with mountain biking is a perfect way to enjoy an adventure.

The focal point of the routes is, of course, the 28-kilometre-long leisure cycle path around Lake Millstätter See. From its shore, a network of cycle and mountain bike trails lead you along challenging trails, picturesque gravel paths and isolated side roads to countless little adventures on your bicycle and e-bike – a total of more than 434 miles (700 kilometres) are waiting for you to discover. After a fulfilling day, you can finish off your evening with a cocktail on one of the many lakeside terraces.

The lake and mountain encounters and the unique lounge seats provide a particularly sensuous experience of nature at Lake Millstätter See. To get even closer to nature, you can choose to stay overnight in an exclusive retreat. With the "bivouac under the stars. Rifugio sotto le stelle", Lake Millstätter See offers extraordinary places by the lake and in the mountains where you can experience the natural spectacle of the firmament up close.

You can look forward to the delicious chocolate cake in the Millstätter Hütte.The hut marks the highest point of the tour. From now on, it is almost only downhill and there are all kinds of other pleasures waiting for you. In addition to the fantastic view up here is another hut on the route. There a coffee or a piece of cake - you deserve it anyway. And then follows the long descent back to the starting point of the tour.
