Your reward is the recognition of others, but that’s not all Komoot regularly organizes unforgettable "Pioneer Trips" in cooperation with different tourist areas to say "thank you" to particularly hard-working pioneers. In this Collection, you will get to know the four diligent Pioneers Beat, Daniela, Sandra and Sven, who spent a long weekend together on the panoramic and action-packed trails around Ischgl.
Exploring the varied trails of the Paznaun is a great "thank you" for the many beautiful photos and helpful tips that the four Pioneers regularly post on their komoot profiles. At the same time, this weekend trip also provided the backdrop for other great highlights. The four stunning photos we show you in this Collection were taken during their adventure. Follow in the footsteps the Pioneers with their long weekend as your source of inspiration: you can simply copy the three routes yourself. Reaching this wonderful mountain adventure is relatively easy. Ischgl is located in Tyrol and can be quickly reached by car from Germany via the Fernpass, Kufstein or past Lake Constance. If you prefer to arrive by train, you can travel to Landeck station and take the bus from there to Ischgl. The region is already waiting for you – fully prepared for mountain bikers during summer. Here, you will find hundreds of kilometres of marked bike trails and 37 routes for all levels of riders to ensure you have an unforgettable mountain bike adventure. From the easy yet panoramic Warm-up Tour to the high alpine mountain experience – you will definitely get your money's worth. Bike shuttles, group tours, riding technique training and hotels specializing in bikers are the icing on the cake. The Silvretta Card, which you can use on all the mountain railways in the region, is even available free of charge. "Explore and discover" is the motto of this tour and the name says it all: this round is perfect for discovering the beautiful landscape in Paznaun / Tyrol from Ischgl. Nestled between Silvretta and the Verwall Group, the stunning mountain panorama is always present, yet you never have to worry about being lost or being out of civilization. You always follow the course of the Trisanna and you can always shorten the tour by simply rolling down into the valley and on the way back.Turning point of the round is the picturesque Kops reservoir. But even on the way there, the breathtaking landscape will captivate you. You drive on a panoramic bike trail, which partly follows the course of the Bike Trail Tyrol from Ischgl to St. Anton. Funny rippling mountain streams, wonderful views and cozy restaurants offer good reasons for a short break. At the latest on Zeinissee you have earned this honestly. Have a nice picnic with you and make yourself comfortable on the lake shore!At the Kops Reservoir, you were greeted by mighty views down the dam, followed by a unique path that runs around the lake. This unique landscape always makes for astonished faces - you will be impressed by the beautiful scenery and make you from here with unforgettable memories on the way back to Ischgl. This is how a bike holiday in Tyrol can begin!
Trails, trails, trails - and in a very pleasant ratio of uphill to downhill: On this round you use two mountain railways, which ensure that you experience today pure downhill fun. Nevertheless, your calves are not idle: At around 30 kilometers, you can really power up - and if you do not get enough, you just hang one more lap, the mountain railways make it possible.The tour starts at the mountain station of the Flimjochbahn - until here you can comfortably enjoy the beautiful mountain landscape from the gondola. Once at the top, a delightful downhill starts down to Ravaisch. There are all sorts of trail variations waiting for you, so you can flow rather flowig to the valley or let you shake properly. Once you arrive down there, you simply sit in the mountain railway and let you get back up to the mountain quickly and comfortably.The best comes to the end: The descent down to Ischgl is a dream! Wonderful lakes and wonderful vantage points always invite you to take short breaks, which you should treat yourself to. From now on, it's just downhill - so you're in no hurry. In addition, you have your goal mostly in view, the view of Ischgl is sometimes really fascinating. And it stirs up the anticipation: Once at the bottom, you can look for a small bar or a beer garden in the cozy place and treat yourself to your well deserved après-bike beer.Tip:

In the front Paznauntal is the cozy community Kappl, nestled amid alpine pastures, the Alps and the mighty mountains of the Verwall and Samnaungruppe a nice starting point for this tour. With the help of the Dias gondola lift, you can check out the trails northeast of Ischgl today and we can promise you one thing: Here you can expect 100% mountain bike fun!Main protagonist of this tour is the brand new Dias Trail, which was opened in the summer of 2018. It starts in the Sunny Mountain adventure park, which you can reach directly with the Dias cable car. At 1,812 meters, it starts. About flowy trails you drive through initially dense forest, which opens in the lower part of it, until you roll over open meadows through Egg and continue to the center of Kappl. The Dias Trail is truly a picture-perfect single trail, with no artificial stops and jumps. If you love nature trails, he is an absolute insider tip.And best of all, thanks to the cable car, you can drive it as often as you want or just until you can not. And it's even better, because you're spoiled for choice. If you do not turn left at the branch to the Dias Trail, but you get to the right, you will reach another great trail, which leads you fast and over quite technical passages also back to Kappl. In the end, however, the same question awaits you: Do you have enough or will you take the gondola up again? Actually, the answer is clear, right?
