The Austrian mountain town of Bad Kleinkirchheim is ready to take bikers on a 15-kilometre (9.3 mi) adventure. The start of the trail is located at 2,055 metres (6,742 ft) above sea level at the Kaiserburgbahn mountain railway station, amidst the gentle alpine world of the Nockberge mountains.
Adrenaline-packed, this varied trail leads downhill for around 15 kilometres (9 mi), including steep turns, drops, pump tracks, and rollers on the gravel route. In total, you cover almost 1,000 metres (3,200 ft) of elevation gain, with an average gradient of 8%. You’ll come away with many memories and that unique ‘flow feeling’. You can rest and relax along the trail at certified bike huts that have panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

The Nock Lake trails that lead from the mountain to the lake are worth taking note of. They take you directly to the shore of the picturesque Brennsee Lake in the village of Feld am See. Before you hit the trails, you can work on your technique at the nock/bike practice course in Feld am See. The 400-metre (1,300 ft) circuit with pump tracks and North Sure elements is a great place to test your skills. There are stoney and rooty trails, as well as a staircase.
At the Kaiserburg cable car station in Bad Kleinkirchheim, you’ll find a 1,000-square-metre (10,800 sq ft) practice course and a pump track. After warming up, you can conquer Europe's longest flow country trail and the five unique natural single trails in and around Bad Kleinkirchheim.
